St. Louis, Missouri–Garth Brooks opened his Tour in St Louis with a record breaking attendance of 74K or more audience. There were so many arrivals the concert was delayed for about 45 minutes to accommodate the crowd trying to get in. The Dome was filled with standing room only. The people were from all parts of the Midwest Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Arkansas and Kentucky. You could feel the excitement and anticipation of of what about to come. As soon as the show started Garth appeared rising out of the back of the stage from the first notes it was “ALL SHOW”. He brought the crowd to their feet from the get go. Garth said he never seen such a crowd that knew so many of his songs old and new, which they did.The audience sang almost every song, which fueled Garth to play his heart out for St Louis. He did! The St Louis audience also had the pleasure to see and hear his wife Trisha Yearwood sing a couple of her songs while accompanied with Garth on guitar. they are truly great together. As the concert played on Garth even played some old Nitty Gritty dirt band tune. His most favorite of bands. Garth brought down the house to close out the concert with friends in low places, amazingly no one, I mean no one was leaving, then came the encore of standing outside the fire. From first opening to close it was a little bit rock & roll and little bit country. Garth Brooks set the bar for St Louis concerts in 2019.
