    Explosion Occurs At Port Neches Refinery

    Port Neches, Texas– An explosion in Port Neches has left two employees and one contractor injured after an early morning explosion at the TPC Group Port Neches Operations processing unit today. The refinery is located at 2102 TX-136 Spur, Port Neches. The plant’s owner released a statement saying in part, “TPC Group has activated its Emergency Response Plan and requested assistance from Port Neches Fire Department and Huntsman.” Fire Fighters were still working to put the fire out at 8:47 a.m. CST.
