St. Louis, Missouri–Michael Bublé‘s 2019 tour stopped in St Louis on Friday March 22 at the Enterprise Center. It had been five years since Michael has been out on tour and both he and the crowd were happy to be reunited.
Opening his set with ‘Feeling Good’ Michael mixed in traditional standards and his newer material. Being Canadian and a hockey fan he got a huge reaction from the crowd mentioning how the Blues have turned their season around.
Not only mentioning the Blues, Michael also covered native St Louisan Chuck Berry’s ‘You Never Can Tell’. Late in the set he performed ‘Forever Now’, a song he wrote for his children and finished with a powerful cover of ‘Cry Me A River’.
After a brief break Michael came back on stage for an encore that finished with him telling the crowd that even though he hadn’t seen them in five years that they were a huge part in helping him and his family deal with the issues that kept him from touring. He finished the show dedicating ‘You Were Always On My Mind’ to them.
Michael Buble never disappoints and this time was no exception.
